James/Maricor,,here are some of the things you need to send along with your petition. First is a copy of your marraige cet,,((Later nvc will require the original NBI) Second divorce decree's if appliicable. Third the g-325A ,,one for each of you. ( Make sure whatever dates you put there are exact like the I-130,,,,divorce dates etc) Passport pics of both of you..Fifth try and show some finacial co-mingle,,,I know you two have not combined any resources yet,,,but maybe someone else can offer some advice on that...Get an affadavit from anyone who can vouch about your relation....Include a short letter describing how you two came to know each other and how it let marraige......

Since you two only know each other a little over a year you need a little more proof of bonifide relation...

Wow I just.sent my application and wow the dates are all different because my husband signed his papers last month when I visited! Oh man I would hate.to get a refusal because of the different dates. :( HAVE ANYONE HAD AN REF OR DENIAL BECAUSE OF THE DIFFERENT DATES?

I got my NOE 1 in the mail on the 25 a week after i sent it. I'm just waiting for the day i will get that e-mail that we've been approved :( sad thing is. I've been doing a lot of research on Haiti because that's where my husband is and on the site below and it states how we are suppose to get expedited but the Rep when i called asked me to request an Expedite I don't understand that. Does anyone knows more about this situation and if they are expediting our applications or not. can i please get some type of response i am trying to learn how to be patient. the link is below and they updated last month. thanks everyone!wacko.gif

April petitioner here. Status: Initial Review. Good thing is, the last time I checked my VJ timeline my visa will adjudicated on Mid to End of September. Now, its on last week of August to 1st week of September. I guess, it's moving. Have a speedy visa journey to all.
