Can anyone please help me? We received the NOA2! I am going to visit my fiance in just about a week. I have been trying to compile all the necessary documents to take with me but I can't find that information anywhere!! Other than the I-134 what info do I need to collect and take to him? When something says original documents does that mean we have to reprint the i-129 packet... ugh i feel so confused. I have already sent him an entire copy of the i-129 packet. Do I need new phone, skype, email logs?

Do I need new phone, skype, email logs?

Take everything you can as far as phone records, e-mails chats that he does not already have the more the better (or at least that is what I have heard from the Ghana embassy cases).

The letter from bank, letter from employer, and depending on consulate, tax returns from current year and/or previous years have to be original for sure. I got duplicates of all so that I always had a backup in case something got damaged or lost. I guess I may be a little more compulsive because of this crazy process, but I figure better to be safe than sorry. All of your information regarding bonafide relationship proof will definitely be needed. Photos, phone bills, emails, boarding passes from all trips, hotel receipts (if any), copies of all pages from your passport, etc... Anything to prove your relation. There are some threads regarding all of this information. We started compiling everything from the very beginning and have saved everything. There also should be some good information on the website of your specific consulate. Have you tried looking through the portal of your fiance's country to see what others have previously published or answered? Good luck and I hope I helped a little. Maybe a more senior member could be more specific, but I have not read where the I-129 has to be reprinted as it is forwarded from NVC. As a safety precaution, I have all of the originals that I sent in as the I-129 application and I am taking all of the originals with me when I go to Brazil to see Mari. Just in case they ask for it, I will have it.

I hope everything goes super smooth for you and you guys are united soon.

what do u mean by originals? that is one thing i am unclear of? i sent originals of everything in? do you mean pictures, birth certif, and like the i-129 and g-325? should i reprint and resign them? everyone says originals, originals, and it may seem silly but i don't really know what they mean.

What is presented the first time are the originals. Copies are what are made of the originals. Please send the original signed letter from your employer with you to the interview. Everything else such as tax returns, bank statements, etc, you can make copies of these. Like John & Mari I made copies of everything to bring along to the interview in case papers get lost.
