YAY!!!! We sent our last packet in, and in less than a month we have our interview date in Dublin April 28th!

So, besides the medical exam, what do we need to do to prepare? Also, with the medical exam, how long in advance should we get it done (does it expire)?

Medicals do expire so make sure you get it done closer to the interview date - I'm not sure what the validity is for Irish citizens.

PS - you'll probably need more pasport photos. Check out the consulate reviews so you know what to expect

make sure to bring also your latest Intent to marry letter on your interview :) once you get than with your medical,you dont have to worry because your interview date is close.and medical result will expire 6 months.

Obviously no intent to marry letter is required. Also, not sure about the 6 months. That is a consulate specific question

Yes, there are only 2 embassy approved physicians in Ireland. No missing list :)

On the day of the physical I brought my passport, passport photograph, immunization record and payment. When you ring the clinic to arrange your appointment you will be told what to bring.

INTERVIEW DATE 03/08/2011 @ 8:30 am !!!

2011-03-08: Placed in AP

If you changed your passport to your married name, don't forget to bring the old passport with all the travel stamps in case they ask for it......a source of delays for some at different embassies.
