I am in the US and my husband is in Isreal. The NVC received my approved I 130 Nov.16, 2010. I sent my AOS packet and received a check list so I sent the missing info, two days later the NVC received the missing info. (USPS tracking) I heard nothing from the NVC for 15 days. The original documents were sent, and received by the NVC then I received another Checklist saying they were missing an original document. I sent the original document Feb.9th and till today the NVC operators and the automated service says they haven't received anything, its been 15 days sent I sent it. When I sent it I sent it using priority mail and I totally forgot to get the extra services added, like tracking, or delivery confirmation. I was wondering if it usually takes this long for the NVC to actually put in their system that mail was received for each petition, or is there chance that it was lost. I don't know what to do, I just want to know if they received the original document, because I know that it takes time for them to review it. I am becoming so impatient since I am due May15th, and was hoping that my husband would be here before then, but as its looks he won't. Does anyone have any idea, or been through a similar situation. After they receive the document and close the case, how long will it be till he can get an interview? Any answers will be greatly appreciated.

My first checklist response didnt get registered into the system for about 20days after it was 'received'. I got a second checklist and the Automated voice system kept saying I'm missing a document right until the day the case was closed! So I'd say give it a few more days...

The date for his intervoew after case is closed will depend on how busy the consulate in Israel is...

Be a bit more patient. It will be ok. It's a shame that you have to endure this but God be with you both.

May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!

Just got off the phone with NVC, they still have no record of my AOS (received 1 1/2 weeks ago) or Elsa's 230 ( signed for and received Tuesday). The gentleman said the wait could be 20 business days for the review/processing. In time they'll process it, just that they're very busy. Patience for us I suppose.....not my strong suit till now :bonk: , no other choice!!
