i have some newbie questions. i've read the guidelines but i want to make sure.

i'm planning to bring my mother and father to the US. i need to submit 2 forms of I-130s, right? if so, thats 2 app fees of $420?

income requirements.. would my mother and father be counted as households also? theres my wife and daughter. with them, would it be 5 people? or 3 people?

and i made under the 125% poverty guidelines in 2008,2009 & 2010. but im good for 2011.. should i wait til 2011 and submit or can i just go ahead now? because normally it takes 6-12 months for this process, so then i'll have my 2011 tax returns ready..

do i submit the i-130 and i-864 together or separate envelope?

thanks in advance

YES

5 if your daughter is a dependent.

Not to worry about 2008, 2009.. the 3 year tax rule is not required. IF by the time you submit the I-184 for your parents and you filed your 2011 taxes than you can use it. You can even delay the submission until you have th updated information for the NVC

do i submit the i-130 and i-864 together or separate envelope?

No. you will only submit the 2 I-130s - mother/father. The I-864 is requested at the NVC stage.

thanks in advance

Ofcourse you're welcome. The I-864 for our file? My parents process was completed on dec. 19. The other case F2A is yet to be approved and haven't reached that stage as yet.

Hello,

I have similar questions. I am trying to bring my parents here in the US far east (central Asia).

1- Should I apply for my parents, my sisters and brothers who are under 21 years old and using the same form (I-130) for all of them (two forms one for each parent)?

yes you should Apply for your parents - ONLY!!

2- Should I list my brothers and sisters on both, father and mother I-130 forms?

YES - you must list their children on page 2 , section C. #17 on both forms

Another question. My brother is 16 years old, can I apply ONLY for him and bring him here in the US by filling form I-130?

YES YOU CAN - but it is quicker and easier for your mother OR father to do this when they get here.

Appreciate you guys help.

Thanks,

F
