Hi everyone!

I'm a Texan engaged to a man who lives in Stafford, UK, and I've been lurking here off and on for some months now. We really just started the process rolling: I filed our I-129F petition a few weeks ago, got our NOA1 about a week later and found out our case got sent off to Vermont (cue "Psycho" shower music). From what I've read here it looks like we're going to just sit and wait for a nice long while. Ah well, it can't be helped. Besides, this gives me a chance to get my act together before the next step. I had been living in New York for grad school until about a month ago and it will take me some time to get gainfully employed again. :)

Anyway, I've found the info on this site to be very useful and reassuring, and I just wanted to say thanks to all of you nice contributors for it. :star:

Cheers!

Victoria

Hi Victoria--

Welcome to VJ. I'm from Texas and married to a Brit. He LOVES it here so I hope your guy will too. I guess VSC is the baddie at the moment. Back when we did K1 everybody wished they were at VSC because it was months faster than CSC. It all changes back and forth. Nobody is happy waiting but it is what it is.

Love the cat!
