Hello!!

What is the current processing time of family based I 485 petitions at the CSC? 4 months?

Upon reaching that date, would you get in touch right away with your local congress man?

But it looks like it only took you two months for your GC??

Thy got their GC in Dec 2009.. that's more than a year ago. Processing times change over time. Sometimes they speed up, sometimes they slow down. Mine took less than 3 months (July 2010 was my approval), but a friends took more than 6. It appears that currently the wait time is 5 months. There's been a few posts about why, namely something about the Haitians or something like that
