Hi I was just wondering if there was anyone out there filing from San Diego or any other areas in California?

I filed for AOS from VWP (no overstay) in mid-December and still havent received a biometrics letter. Its so frustrating when I see that some people who filed around the same time are already receiving their interview letters and i cant even see my case online!

Ive called USCIS a couple of times and they've told me to wait :blink: last time I called the guy told me that a service request had been sent and that if I dont hear anything by feb 24th to call again by which point it will be well over 2 months since I filed! I know its a waiting game but its kinda disheartening when you see others progressing but hearing nothing about your own case....I guess it would just make me feel better if I heard that other people in the same state were waiting similar lengths of time.

I hope someone can put my mind at ease..... :help:

11-09: Met in Vietnam, backpacked then lived together in Oz

09-26-10: Came to the US

11-19-10: Got married

12-10-10 (Day 0): Posted package (I-130, I-485 and I-765)

12-12-10 (Day 2): Package received

12-17-10 (Day 7): Received text and email confirmation, and checks cashed

12-20-10 (Day 10: NOA1 hard copy received

02-28-11 (Day 80): Biometrics letter received FINALLY!

03-01-11 (Day 81): Successful biometrics walk-in

03-02-11 (Day 82): Card production ordered!

03-12-11 (Day 92): EAD card received

03-16-11 (Day 96): Notification of interview scheduled for April 15!!!!!

04-15-11 (Day 126): Interview-Greencard approved!!!!!

ROC

02-27-13: I-751 sent

03-03-13: NOA1

I'm San Diego, submitted for my wife just a week after you did:

Package (130/485/765) sent 12/17

NOA1 - 12/23

Bio notice - 12/29

Bio appt - 01/24

Got our appt notice last week for March 17th

Receive Interview notice for 03/17 on 02/09/2011!

EAD notice on 02/17

Interviewed on 03/17 and Approved!

I am in Santa Barbara, it s the oxnard office and it is a little long, can you contact the congresswoman?

7/28/04 we met

10/ /06 started dating long distance, not fun

7/15/08 we gave birth to a beautiful baby boy

11/11/10 we got married in amazing Santa Barbara

11/17/10 mailed I 130, I 131, AP and EAD

11/25/10 package received

12/06/10 checks cashed

12/08/10 Email/ text

12/11/10 NOA hard copies in the mail

01/ /11 biometrics walk in successful in Oxnard

02/07/11 EAD in production, AP post decision activity

02/11/11 AP in hand

02/14/11 EAD in the mail!!!!!!!

02/17/11 EAD in hand + applied for SSN

04/13/11 Interview and Approval letter, card in production!!!

Wow Matt, that really makes me wonder if something is wrong with my case or maybe if it has gotten lost.....

Congrats on your wife's AOS being processed so quick and good luck with the interview.

Cookieandcream: yeah it seems to be so much longer than everyone else. It would be easier to wait if I'd already had the biometric appointment, at least then I'd know it was moving forward. I'll wait till the 24th like USCIS said, then I'll get my husband to contact the congresswoman.
