Anybody has any idea what an interview in Australia is like? ust want to be sure that party is well prepared. Been reading of places like Casa where there have not been many highly positive review. I am aware of different places having different personalities so, this is directed specifically at people who have been there or their family or friends have.

My review can be found in my signature. Australia is pretty easy but I'm Australian and you mention Casa so are you Aussie or foreign applying in Australia? I'm not sure if it's different if you're not actually Australia (or from a high fraud country normally). I had a pretty relaxing experience really.

I am the Petitioner and a USC and my fiancee is Aussie. Just want want to calm the nerves. Only mentioned Casa because those who are from that area seem to have a hard time, according to their postings on this forum.

The Consular reviews are very helpful. Will have my fiancee take a look at them.

Cheers.

Well in that case I can be more clear :) Have your fiancee pop over to the Aussie chat thread (in my signature) if she wants to chat to fellow Aussies about what to expect and help chill her nerves a bit. The Australian consulate is pretty easy from what I've seen of others experiences as well as my own. They're very personable and it's a GORGEOUS view out the window waiting for the interview. I can honestly say that when I finished the interview and was approved I was kinda in a "really? Thats it?" haze. I was so stressed out (really crappy trip there) and then it just flew so smoothly and it almost felt surreal that it was all over (well for now :P) and that I was FINALLY able to travel to be with my fiance.

Anyway :) I digress. What stage is your lovely lady up to? The K1 thread should help her out if she's still at the "prior NOA2" stage. :time: so we can help you out a bit better. The K1 thread should give her a good head-start so she gets a quick turnaround to interview date once the NOA2 is approved.
