First of all, if you didn't do so, you should report it at your local police office. Whatever the case, whatever the next step will be with ROC coming up and such, you will need to report it because it is a legal document for identification purposes. What if someone robs some place or worse, while "losing" your greencard or something (or simply steals your identity)?

Next what I would do, given that you do not have any copies anymore, is to read the following page and do as they tell you to: USCIS - Replace a Green Card. And then, if you do not have the new green card yet by the time you have to file by the latest (let's say a week or two before last date of filing), I would file the I-751 and add a letter with explanation why you didn't add a copy of the greencard, and also a notification that the stolen green card has been reported (add a copy of the police report) and that you also requested to have a stolen or lost green card to be replaced at the USCIS.

Personally I think this is the way to go. However, I have no personal experience in this so I do not know this for sure. But to me this seems the most logical way to go.

Good luck anyways!

I am in a somewhat similar position. My greencard was stolen, and I applied for a replacement card last summer. I submitted the I-751 in November and was notified that the replacement application was denied as effectively the I751 would be the replacement. That being said, i think it would still be a good idea to apply for a replacement so they have it on record that the green card has been lost. I also wrote a supplementary note explaining the situation.

If you have a copy of the 2-yr card (front and back) that's all you need for ROC. In the meantime, file a police report for stolen green card. Once you file I-751, and receive your NOA-1 you may want to go to an Infopass with your passport so they can stamp I-551 stamp in there.
