Fact Sheet: USCIS.gov 'My Case Status'

Background

On June 25, President Obama announced that in the next 90 days USCIS would launch a vastly improved USCIS.gov public website to help customers navigate the immigration system and remain up-to-date regarding their case status. USCIS has committed to delivering on this promise by incorporating both internal and external stakeholder feedback.

Ok lets pray when it is back up and running everyone will be approved.

This is the message at USCIS.... Is it only me that sees it isn't working yet?

There will be a scheduled application outage starting on Saturday, Feb. 5, 8 a.m. EST until 9 a.m. EST Sunday, Feb 6. During this time you will not be able to access:

  • My Case Status,
  • Change of Address Online,
  • e-Request,
  • Processing Times,
  • Civil Surgeon Locator, or
  • Office Profiles under Find a USCIS Office.

We regret any inconvenience.

Forgive me for being the skeptic, but when government "improves" something, the results are often less than desirable.

Nobody's life, liberty or property is safe while Congress is in session.

Post Office, Social Security, Medicare...list goes on and on with all the broken entities that the government runs/regulates.

The interface is a little different, but the content is still the same mind numbing BS with the same outlandish claim that the Vermont Disservice Center processes our i129fs in 5 months.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

The "new and improved" website is nothing but the same dog with different fleas. Your tax dollars at work! :bonk:

Delays in processing...A goverment agency has two reasons for doing anything . . . a good reason and the real reason.

Time is relative... The mind makes it slow, the heart makes it fast, our friends make it worth while, and words... make it timeless.
