My husband went through a successful inteverw but was caught during the finger print and was asked to bring a proof of Identity before 2005 becos he's been to the US embassy wit different name on a passport arnd 2005..

The counselor asked him which is his real name? the one he used during 2005 interview or the one he is using now. he told the counselor the one he is using now, so the counselor ask him to bring a proof of this current name before 2005. I pray the approve his visa.

They ask on the forms Other names used. If he didn't disclose the "old" name there then he will probably be charged with fraud. If he answered that question honestly and can show proof of name change then he should be ok.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

in 2005 instead of using his real name he went by a different name(johnson Ayew) and now with the finger print they find out he was there in 2005. Now 2011 he went there with his real name (Kwame Addo)... he went through the interview successfully but later the counsolor caught him and told him "Kwame i have an evidence wich shows u were in here for a visitors visa with the name Johnson" so now tell me which is your real name" Johnson or Kwame" there my husband said Kwame is his real name and the counselor asked him to bring a proof of identity with his real name"kwame'before he came to the 2005 interview with a false passport.(whch is a school records or any identity card with the name Kwame which was in issued in 2004,2003,2002 or 2001 if that's truely his name.

Good luck

Oh no... I get the feeling as soon as he takes proof that his name was Kwame before 2005 they are going to permanently ban him for material misrepresentation... trying to gain entry using false documents in 2005... This is not good and I don't think he'll get the visa... sorry.

not many ways to sway this...I am sorry for all of our African friends who are coming honestly. It's not my job to say he is wrong or right but it does not look good.
