HI all,

I hold an EB-1. my fiacée is British. She was approved for a F-1 but we decided not to use it since she would have to pay international student tuition. At the time, October of last year, the Visa bulletin had a priority date of JUN 2010 for spouses of LPRs. Now the priority date is JAN 2008. How does such a thing happen? What was the waiting period for those of you who went through this? I need to start thinking about other ways for us to be together.

Thanks,

BrazilNut

Visa numbers get used up in the other categories leaving less extras for F-2A.

Numbers fluctuate.

How close to being able to file for US Citizenship are you? if you can become a citizen, then you can get this petition moved from F2A up to the unlimited class and immediately get a visa number assigned.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

I am a permanent resident, I call the NVC and they told me my husband case was complete on January 24,2011.how long will it take for him to get an interview date?

It depends on your Priority date. What is your priority date? If your priority date after january, 2010 then you have to wait atleast 2 years...according to present Visa Bulletin date..soRRy...Ask your spouse to JOIN US ARMY...no waiting time..No hassle..No Background checks..Always rewarded...GOD BLESS AMERICA!!
