To start no the fee is now $1070 cheque made out to Dept of Homeland Security send it to Chicago k.

It says and there has been conflicting advice on the passport pics as it says only 2 but then on the Ead and AP they also want 2/ It has been said over and over here that they only use the 2 and photocopy them for the AP and EAD. To be honest we sent 6 photos to be on the safe side but on my EAD card the photo is the one I had taken at bio appointment. SO up to you send 6 or send 2.

If you read the instructions on the guide on here it tells you exactly what copies each form requires. http://www.visajourn...om/content/k1k3

Check this link out of a fellow Aussie I followed it and never had a problem http://www.visajourn...-list-included

This should help you

We only did 1 cover letter for the whole AOS

When submitted our AOS the end of December. Even after reading all of Vanessa's info (which BTW was AMAZING), we put in only 2 photos. That is all I had around the house left and I wanted to get it mailed and not wait another day. Earlier this month we had an InfoPass Appt to expedite the AP, and the IO asked if I submitted pictures with the AP, I said no, he said ok.... we got the AP the other day with his picture on it from his K-1 visa.

So really I would say it doesn't matter a great deal, if you have 6 pictures put 6 in, if you have 2 and want it to get in now, then just put 2 in.

I would guess as a check that the person who is on the K-1 is the same as the one who travel in at POE is the same as the one who submits their AOS is the same as the one who turns up for biometrics...

I'd also guess that they were needed for each form back when they'd put them on the actual card, the way they used to with passports. But now they just scan them and print them electronically, they're surplus to requirement. It costs money to update instructions, so they don't bother. No skin off their noses if we send in more than they need. Also, people are sending different forms at different times. They have to say, 'send 2 photos' on each set of instructions, because what if that person was only submitting an I-131 or only submitting an I-765?
