Hi Guys,

Need your suggestions!

My case being processed at CSC & I did not have any interview for AOS. Now my case status on USCIS is showing "Decision" & the following below message:-

"Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283".

Just confused, what does this ADIT mean? Do I still have to go through any procedure?

Thanks in Advance for any suggestions/help!

USCIS TO CONTINUE ISSUING “ADIT” STAMPS

Washington, D.C. – Until further notice, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will continue the practice of issuing “ADIT” stamps. An “ADIT” Stamp is added to a passport or an Arrival-Departure Record (I-94) as temporary proof of residence. To alleviate inconvenience to our customers, USCIS continues to aggressively pursue technological improvements to allow the prompt issuing of permanent alien resident cards without the need to issue these temporary stamps.

The poster above me is incorrect. ADIT is another name for biometrics (fingerprinting & photo).. it's actual definition is "Alien Documentation, Identification & Telecommunications System". It doesn't really matter for you because you've already done biometrics. It's just one of those standard lines.
