I would. Even if they do not allow the petitioner at the interview, go a day or two before. Spend time together that way your fiancée goes into the interview relaxed, and maybe even with more evidence of the too of you together. Show your support to your fiancée and to the interviewer will prove the relationship is for real.

I would go (and did) but it depends a LOT on the home country of your fiancee. In some countries they don't care if you are there or not and in others it is almost mandatory to be there.

Depends on country, in cases of High-Fraud countries it is felt that US Citizen being in country when Beneficiary is interviewing, in a small way may show support.

For example in the case of China, even though petitioner cannot attend interview, beneficiary can carry petitioner's passport into the interview showing that petitioner is there.

Personally I would like to go but I heard it both ways. Some say don't some say doesn't matter and some say do. I also been told to save the money for something else. I think if I can afford the trip I would like to go though.

I think it really boil down to whether you have red flags. My fiance had his interview yesterday in Ghana, West Africa and I did not fly to Ghana. West Africa is considered one of the high fraud areas. We were approved with no problems. Even if I did go I would not have been allowed inside. I was there 2 weeks before the interview for vacation. We worked on organizing everything for the interview and I made sure he had everything they ask for.

I did not go to my then fiance's interview in New Delhi, India. We didn't think it was necessary for the interview, not sure if I would have been let in anyway. I would have liked to be there for moral support but I had started a new job and it's just so expensive to fly over.

Although there have been glimmers of an exception lately, everyone who interviewed in Ecuador in my time frame without the USC present was given a 221g (if they were lucky) or the visa was refused outright. For something to file in the blackest recesses of your mind, read PDXBicycleBoy's review of his Ecuador experience.

Currently it will be Jordan because that is where she has been living for a long while. However it could end up being changed to Philippines if she goes back home. I'm counting on and hoping on Jordan though.

Not necessary if the interview is in the Philippines. There would be a 50/50 chance you won't even get to meet the interviewer.

Not sure what you are talking about. My fiancee is living in Jordan on a work visa she has been there over a year and a half we plan on filing for Jordan unless she goes home to Phil. I highly doubt she will go home so it will be Jordan.

I know a Filipina and Kano that did the K-1 while she was working in Hong Kong. They had to go to Manila for the interview. Maybe you will luck out, but they couldn't get the interview moved to Hong Kong.

i think she will hafto come back here..she will need alot of things, cenomar and stuff..if she's only there for a working visa..its not bad here in the philippines..long as you have everything they will need, evidence and stuff, you'll be fine..ive heard of other fiances who were also interviewed together with their filipina fiancee..but its not a must that you attend..

If she does have to return to Manila, make sure she gets a copy of her Jordanian police report before she leaves. She will need that for the interview, along with the Philippines NBI report, and official copies of birth and any marriage records/CENOMAR (like new1 said). She also has to go through another CFO seminar again.

How can I find out if they will let us to Jordan or not?
