Hi All -

I found this an interesting read and a good insight as to what happened in 2010 that has created such a slow down in the VSC and CSC and has affected all our petitions.

Figured it may be an interesting read for you all too.

Well, that confirms the "speculation" by numerous members here about USCIS prioritizing non-citizens over citizens. Though, only one to blame for this is Napolitano, not those working at USCIS.

Interesting read though and i hope their request for a budget increase makes them more efficent in processing applications.

Interesting information.

Makes me wonder what would be in the 2011 version of this (everything from March 2010-> current).

Thanks for the links.

This guy actually said that VSC has no backlog!

Wow! Talk about the ultimate whopper! And from the director himself!

As for the testimonies and speeches, there were certainly some nice ideas in that document. They would have been nicer if USCIS actually practiced what this guy preaches.

But I suppose since he thinks VSC has no backlog, I suppose he also thinks that USCIS actually uses these ideas.

When will this guy come out of his cloud and look at what is really going on?

he definitely likened walking into the CSC as this picture when speaking about trying to move to electronic records: raiders_of_the_lost_ark_government_warehouse_new.jpg

This and how they prioritize your immigration needs comes to you courtesy of those that you all voted into office.

I trust that all you voted?

Maybe you will consider what is really important to your life next time?

:ot: If your suggestion is that we all *stay* on top of immigration during the next round of voting, okay...i agree with that. But to be so naive as to assume and suggest that you're talking to an entire forum of non-voters when the topic of interest is immigration, one of the most controversial and hot topics in politics today, is awfully naive and unnecessary.

anywho. off my soap box. :ot2:

Yes I did, and I voted for Obama.

Do you think McCain would have done a better job choosing a CIS Director? Remember that the Senate conformed this guy unanimously, so it is not like the Republicans held out for someone better.

Oh, how I wanted to vote. Unfortunately I was a little too young at the time.

NOA1 Received: August 26, 2010

Touches: The October 3rd Touch of Death :)

And did you get what

you wanted from this life, even so?

I did.

And what did you want?

To call myself beloved, to feel myself

beloved on the earth.
