I received my NOA1 on August 13, 2010.

Today I received an email and text message stating the following:

**On January 14, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Here are some tips,

After my 5 month mark

1. I emailed csc-ncsc-followup@dhs.gov

2. The following day, I emailed csc-ncsc-followup@dhs.gov a 2nd time

3. They responded with an email, stating the application will be reviewed

4. I replied to their email, stating my appreciation and gratitude

5. 1 hour later I received a text message and a new email stating that we got approved.

Hi All.

They received the petition for our I-129F on August 19, 2010. I believe it has passed the 150 day mark and this is a bit concerning that they have not yet sent a response. I keep on trying to call the hotline 1-800-375-5283 and i can never get an option to talk to a customer representative. I am always forced to place my receipt number and I have heard the same message every time.

I tried to email csc-ncsc-followup@dhs.gov but I just got the automated reply that they will only respond if I have a service ticket number from the customer service representative to add to the body. In short they will not respond to the status inquiry without first having been helped by the hotline representative. However there is no option to reach a representative.

Do you guys have any tips?
