Congratulations on your NOA2. Now follow the NVC step on this link http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/EZGuideSpouse

The sooner you get your packages to NVC the faster you will be out of NVC then on to the consulate.

Citizenship next step!

You get your green card after you enter the US, not before...you will receive instructions for scheduling an interview at the US Embassy in your home country and for getting a medical exam completed.

Depends on your age when petition was filed, who filed the petition, and your age if this was filed by a step parent or biological parent.

You may be issued a visa number immediately, or if F1, F2, or F3 class, the petition may go into storage at NVC for some time waiting for a visa number to be assigned.

More background details needed..

Is dad a US citizen or green-card holder, if citizen is he step parent?

If Step parent US citizen, and married your mother before you became 18, then you qualify for immediate visa number. Next part of process involves the National visa Center (NVC)

More: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/nvc/nvc_1335.html

If green-card holder filed the petition, then you fall into the F2A class, about a 2 year wait for a visa number for most countries. http://travel.state.gov/visa/bulletin/bulletin_5212.html
