You say mother in law?? US Citizen cannot file an I-130 for an IN-Law, Green-card holder needs to become a US Citizen, and only after becoming a citizen can they file an I-130 for their parrent.

It's just easy as soon as you started filing the I-130 and just follow all the instructions. Make sure fill up the I-130 properly and correctly. And once you're in NVC it's much easier too. When you're in the process you can check out the forum in here. I'll try to find and send it to you. I'd followed that and it helps me alot. My Mother is here, she arrived feb'2010. and my father is coming next month. If you have more questions let me know.Good Luck!

We're from General Santos City,Mindanao. Either way. If it's not during the holidays. You can send her 10 days before her interview. There's a close lodge to stay and so cheap by St. Luke.Or you can send her twice once you received the interview schedule she can go right away.I am pretty sure she gets her before winter. Just make sure all her requirements for NVC is gathered together. So when that time comes you'll send it to them right away and keep calling the NVC. I have my timeline attached.
