No Medical Schedule but we do have a Interview Date

Hi, I just received yesterday that my parents case is complete and they're sending their papers at Manila Embassy. NVC gave us an interview date for Feb 3, 2011 but they haven't given us any medical schedule yet. Can my parents have their medical test now even when we still waiting for a letter to schedule them for their medical? Or should we wait when Manila Embassy have their papers then have their medical.

Either way can they have their medical eventhough they haven't got their medical schedule and just present the NVC email letter that their case is complete and their interview date is schedule for Feb 3rd?

Hope someone can answer... TIA. Appreciate it...

hi sis, no need to get the schedule of medical they can go to st.lukes medical anytime b4 there interview schedule.. actually they can schedule themselves in the medical once they got their interview date.

Yes, once they get their interview letter date, they can schedule their own medical Congrats!

I'm not sure if it the same with you, but normally once you get a notice for an interview date for your visa, you can go ahead and walk in at St. Luke for your medical. Just bring the confirmation letter showing your interview date and other documents for the medical. Oh and don't forget about the fee as well. Good luck and Happy New Year.

Thanks sis...How do they schedule themselves for medical. Just walk in and show their Interview date letter or call St Luke's on the phone to schedule it?

St. Lukes does not schedule medical exams. The medical exams are done on a walk-in basis only.

Thanks....My parents didn't received a physical mailed letter for their Interview Date. I only received an email from NVC for their Interview Date. Will that(email printout letter) be sufficient to show at St Lukes entrance, and be able to have their medical done?

I want it clarify because I don't wanna spend airplane tickets and pay hotel stay and then be told that they have to wait for that physical letter for their interview date.

I'm guessing that the email from NVC will be sufficient to show at St. Lukes to be able to have their medical. I'm not 100% certain, but I think the NVC is the one who schedules interviews for your type of visa, and there will be no letter from the Embassy. To double check, you might want to call the NVC to verify this.

Appointment letter from email would be fine, that's what I did. Make sure they go early so they will be done early and let them have it soon coz it's a 2 day medical exam and some experience delays because of the xray results but I Hope they will be fine. Goodluck!

Yes it will be enough...we only used the NOA2 from the USCIS to do the medical and they accepted it. Just told them my wife would do an advanced medical. FWIW, My wife and I didnt receive the hard copy letter until about a week and a half out...basically it arrived to her and within 2 days she was "scheduled" for her medical and interview was a week after the medical.
