Does ANYONE have any idea or experience with the DCF process in Ankara, Turkey? We sent our package last Friday and we haven't heard anything as when or how we will be notified! I REALIZE it has only been a week...not knowing is the worse  and since we are going the DCF route, we cant check "things" as we could if we were in the states :crying: AND yes, I am a worry wort that's what I do!

Hi -

I got your PM and just saw your post. We went through the DCF process 2 years ago and it went smoothly, but just be patient... you are in Turkey, after all! We tracked our package to the Embassy and I think we received notification (via email) 2 weeks after they received it (see my timeline below). Since it's the holidays, things might slow down at their offices, so try not to worry too much. We had really good experiences dealing with the people working there and despite having some random, weird problems with the payment (long story) -- every time I needed info, I spoke to a person there and they were helpful.

Be patient! I know it's difficult, but we were very happy with our experience doing DCF in Ankara. :)
