Can someone sponsor them selves to USA on a CR-1 ?

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could sponsor themselves to the USA on a CR-1 visa. I can not start work until frbruary so i can not sponsor my husband to get here. If he shows that he will have a job when he gets here that is about 125% poverty line guidelines, is he able to "co-sponsor" himself?

I might have a company or two willing to do so. But because it is a family visa the company can't bea co-sponsor it has to be an individual.

No, you must sponsor him and if you don't meet the poverty guidelines and don't have enough assets then you must use a co-sponsor who is a US Citizen or LPR. If a business wishes to sponsor him then that is a whole different class of visa (I believe it's in the HB category but not certain).
