I-130 askes for former spouses and in russian, a mans last name can be different than a females. Also, a son can take the name of a grandparent to continue the name if the death of the grandparent end the family line. I plan to petition for my future wifes son, who has a different last name than his mother or father. The mothers name ends with ...bekova and the fathers name ends with ...bekov and the sons name is totally different. Someone please tell me that this is routine! If not, what can I do? Thanks!

The form is just asking for the name. I'm certain the consulate in Russia is aware of the cultural differences and the variations in the names if they are as common as you say. Even if the names were the same, you'd still have to prove the relationship (birth certificate, etc.).

With that said... I have got a clue about Russia or Russian culture .

Maybe someone who has encountered this before can chime in. You maybe even to to ask you the Russia specific regional forum(Russia, Ukraine, Belarus), you'd be more likely to get an accurate response there.
