Hello everyone

I've been reading the forums and hope to get some help from you.

My fiance submitted the I-129F package last Aug. 27, 2010 to the CSC and today, it is Nov. 24th so it's been almost 12 weeks since. He said he has not received the NOA1 yet. He just checked this week (Nov. 22) and said that his cheque hasn't been cashed. He doesn't remember if he sent it via regular mail or certified mail so he doesn't know if he has a tracking number for it either.

Aside from calling the National Customer Service Center, is there any other way for us to check if they have received our package?

Thanks in advance!

If the check hasn't been cashed yet, I would definitely contact the USCIS.. I've never seen it take 3 months to recieve NOA1... Something doesn't seem right... I especially wonder about the Petitioner.. Something this important, I would've remembered how it was sent and would have made sure I tracked the delivery... I sent my Petition bu US Postal Service and was able to track the package until it was delivered... I would make sure your fiancee sent it to the correct place...

If the check isnt cashed he wont be getting any sort of NOA1. Either the petition is sitting on a desk somewhere or he sent it to the wrong place or it got lost or he never sent it. Call and find out if its lost somewhere in their mail room.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

I too agree it's very odd that the petitioner doesn't remember how he sent it. Something this important you remember.

If the cheque hasn't been cashed then it's unlikely they've received the package.

Thanks for all your replies.

My fiance said he will call the Nat'l Customer Service Center on Friday since it's a holiday today. I really do hope the package gets found soon.

Despite being stressed, I'll still greet everyone a happy thanksgiving!!

Trying to stay positive,

Lorrie
