Hi there,

I hope I'm doing this right since this is my first forum post ever. I'm living in germany since 40 years. Now my son decided to move over to the US with his wife and kids next year. Since he is a US citizen too, they are planning to get visas via DCF. The problem: He can't use his own income on that I-864 because he's been living in germany since he was born and he doesn't have any job contract in the US yet. He has never been taxed in the US and they don't get along with their assets because of that 3x rule. Of course I want to support my boy and his family, but can't be a joint sponsor since I'm not domiciled in the US. Do you think it's possible (and legal) for me to donate a amount of money per month to him to give him a legal income? Can we put up a contract saying that his father donates $x a month for a year or two to get him over that poverty guidelines? Or let him work for me (he helps me with my website)?

Regards, Kyle
