Maybe. My wife's wasn't. It's definitely on the I-129F approval notice, in the "Beneficiary" box just above your name.

The POE Officer writes it down at the back of the I-94, but sometimes they write it incorrectly or incompletely.

Agree with Jim, the best source for your A number is on the NOA2 of the I-29F.

Our CBP officer had never processed a K1 before, and kept having to holler over to another officer at another counter to ask him what to do.

Anyway, they didn't write anything on the back of the I-94. It was blank, except for the stuff that's pre-printed there.

Best source (as previously stated) is the NOA2 (K1 petition approval notice). Any other locations tend to be rife with typos.
