Hello all,

First time posting here. I'm currently working on my fiancee's K-1 Visa. I know it will take about half a year to complete. In the mean time, we have a son (out of wedlock) and I want to get him registered at the US Embassy. I've reviewed the process on their website. What I've noticed though, is it takes about 2 weeks or so from the time the packet is received till the interview itself. I'll be in the PI for 3 weeks (Nov 6-29). Does anyone know if there is a way to expedite the interview date? It might be a real headache if the interview is after my departure date (I can't stay longer I have to get back to work). I know I can have my fiancee do it herself but she's nervous about doing it alone and I really want to be there anyway.

Any light that can be shed on the subject would be appreciated.
