My fiancé lost his 2007 W-2 . How can he get a copy?. He's no longer working for the employer he did in 2007

Thanks in advance!

Order the free tax transcript from the IRS instead; it's mo' better.

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!

He can request for a free copy of his Tax Transcript from the IRS. Ask him to complete the form available on the IRS website through this link -

http://www.irs.gov/individuals/article/0,,id=110571,00.html and mail it to the IRS. When you submit a tax transcript from the IRS you do not need any W-2.

Call 800 829 1040 and order your tax transcripts. Took me about 1 week to get mine. They take the place of W2's and returns.

He doesn't need it. One year tax return is sufficient. Give them 2009
