# Obtain the applicant's required civil documents. This process may be lengthy and could be subject to specific in-country local requirements. To review specific requirements by country click Reciprocity by Country. Submit the applicant's original civil documents.

so far we are at my wife's iv visa processing step. when we submit original documents like it asks for? do we also submit copies again? cause we originally submitted copies when we filed i-130? this time do we just send originals and no copies?

# Obtain and submit photographs that meet the Department of State's immigration requirements.

also are these photos that is asked here for are different from the ones we submit with form i-130? do we submit another set? other than the ones we originally submitted during i130 process?

Photocopy of Valid Passport Biographic Data Page

Who needs to submit a photocopy of their passport? The applicant and each family member accompanying the applicant must submit a photocopy of the biographic data page from their respective valid passport.

What should I send to the NVC? Send a photocopy of your (and any family members’) biographic data page from valid passports. This is the page that shows your name, and your date and place of birth.

Note: Do NOT send passports to the NVC. Send only photocopies of the biographic data pages.

does this ask for biographic data of family member ONLY if they are accompanying the immigrant right? my wife is only gona be coming back with me. i dont need her parents biodata from passport before i send the package?

sorry, this seems a bit slow to me -

are you paying via the online payment portal, or not?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

ok - please review this -> http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/221785-ds-3032-slowdown/page__view__findpost__p__3560467

and get forms from:

DS-230 - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3190.html

I-864 - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3730.html

General NVC stuff - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_1335.html

IMO, yer not 'hooked in' yet, with the right info.

If you are waiting on 'postal mail notification' on anything at NVC,

you have chosen (knowingly or unknowingly)

the

'go slow ' mode.

'Go Slow' sucks, mostly.

Want Speed? Study the first link, map out yer plan of attack, handle all the forms.

(all the above was written to the USCitizen Spouse, not the Foreign Spouse. If you are the Foreign Spouse, please train yer USCitizen Spouse on 'how to do', as 'postal notification' is a really 'go slow' mode of approach, for NVC).

Good Luck !

if im not mistaking, i think for pakistani spouse visa applications are not allowed to go fast route through emails. it was written in forms that was sent to me along wit ds3032 that only certain countries are allowed to do the email, the rest gota go the slow route by mailing everything unfortunetly. i could be wrong?

Emailing DS-3032 can be done for all.

"Electroning Processing" for the entire NVC process is restricted to certain countries.

My apologies - 'we' have a difference of opinion for what 'postal notification from NVC' truly means.

I know it to mean -

NVC sends out a postal mailer to beneficiary or petitioner (depending) to 'make notice' to 'someone' for 'what next to send' into NVC.

IMO, and IME, 'going postal' with NVC, to wait on NVC postal notifications, takes about 9 months from start to finish. This is the 'go slow' mode.

Instead, anyone, any country, can 'go fast' by monitoring the online payment portal status, and sending things INTO NVC based on online payment portal status.

Just for grins, just for some knowledge acquisition, I suggest to you, to READ the content over at http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/221785-ds-3032-slowdown/page__view__findpost__p__3560467

and then examine yer current plan for dealing with NVC

and then

refactor that 'current plan'

and then refactor it again, to match up the steps outlined over at http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/221785-ds-3032-slowdown/page__view__findpost__p__3560467

It has nothing to do with NVC EP, and nothing to do with 'emails' that are sent IN to NVC.

No No, don't ask me about the mini-how-to over at http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/221785-ds-3032-slowdown/page__view__findpost__p__3560467

- instead - read it. Truly READ IT. Then - take pencil to paper, map out yer (new) plan .

Then do it again.

And... one more time, yes, a third time.

I'm betting by 'the third time' that you've outline yer new plan - you'll understand it thoroughly, and then,

can

GO FAST.

Good Luck ! (or something)
