I am assembling a concurrent filing for forms I-130, I-485 etc. to adjust the status of a parent to "permanent resident" and was told that I should also file an I-131 in case the parent needs to return home which is outside the US. On the I-131 form, I assume that I need to check the "d" box in Part 2 and apply for an advanced parole document.

1) How then do I answer part 3 describing the intended departure date if I don't know when they might need to leave for an emergency. Is there a validity period over which the advanced parole extends.

2) Also, it appears that if the I-131 is filed with the I-485 concurrently that the I-131 fee is included in the I-485 fee. Does this also include the biometrics?
