did you complete a DS-230 form ? that is YOUR visa application form, not 'her paperwork', at all.

reminder to all - this is a DCF case, in Egypt -

OP is much confused, and for some reason, doesn't pass information to his USCitizen Spouse, and is much confusion in him on 'steps for DCF'. They've submitted the I-130, it was approved, and now they are prepping docs for phase II, the DS-230 and I-864 submittal INTO Egypt.

look - yer wife left Egypt to get her I-864 and co-sponser sorted out - I get it . She not have to do that, could have handled all remotely whilst in Egypt.

Now you must handle a Visa Application, the DS-230 (you, yes you, not yer wife) and then the filing fee to the Embassy for this form is 404 usd, or equivalent in local monies.

It really is that straightforward.
