Ermmmmmmm...only 82 MB...

Oh well...at least it's on there. I haven't been on the computer much because of the family being up here, but so far, no crashing!!! Woo hoo! Now that I'm updated a bit, I'm going to run that Ewido scan again later tonight and see what it comes up with now.... M.

FYI Scratch the Ewido program. I have WIN98 SE and you need at least WIN 2000.

just scan and clean weekly and you should be fine. if you use a router at home (more than one compy to the internet) check that too to make sure noone is borrowing your connection too (it happens).

other than that... maybe get IOLO system mechanic... maybe. but from what you say... you should be good.

we use Avast! Online Access Scanner, and it has been excellent in updating constantly and catching any bugs very quickly....best of all, it is free!

This recent problem is not spy or malware,

The problem has been around since the last batch of patches. On Internet Explorer, click on "tools", then "Internet Options", then "Advanved tab", scroll down to the box "HTTP 1.1 Settings" and click to remove the check box. Ok out of all the windows, make sure all IE windows are closed then restart IE, that should stop the issue.
