What visa did you arrive under?

hello everyone

please bear with me here, i am new in this site and i am seeking for some suggestion how to do, what to do, and when to do the naturalization.

N-400 Timeline

02-23-2018: Sent N-400 Application online

02-23-2018: Date on NOA, retrieved from online account

02-23-2018: Date on Biometrics Appointment Letter (Biometrics Appointment at Jacksonville ASC on March 13, 10:00 a.m.)

03-08-2018: Biometrics complete

04-05-2018: Case status updated - Interview Scheduled on May 10, 2018, 10:15 a.m. :D

05-10-2018: Citizenship Interview - Passed English and Civics Tests, Recommended for Approval! :D 

06-19-2018: Received email and text notification: Naturalization Ceremony Scheduled; waited for letter to be uploaded on online account - it has been set on Wednesday, July 25, 3:00 p.m.

07-25-2018: I am now a U.S. Citizen!

You qualify after 3 years of continuous residence in the US. (Meaning, you were a permanent resident/green card holder for 3 years without leaving the US for trips of 6 months or longer.)

i was arrived here as a K1 visa, i already got my 10 year green card and i am a legal residence here since Aug 29, 2007

correct, but only when based on a marriage and application through a marriage to a USC. Else, it is 5 years.

06/30/11 .. Package Delivered to Dallas Lockbox

07/06/11 .. Received e-mail notification of application acceptance

07/06/11 .. Check cashed

07/08/11 .. Received NOA letter

07/29/11 .. Received text/e-mail for biometrics notice

08/03/11 .. Received Biometrics letter - scheduled for 8/24/11

08/04/11 .. Walk-in finger prints done.

08/08/11 .. Received text/e-mail: Placed in line for interview scheduling

09/12/11 .. Received Yellow letter dated 9/7/11

09/13/11 .. Received text/e-mail: Interview scheduled

09/16/11 .. Received interview letter

10/19/11 .. Interview - PASSED

Correct - but the condition is if they are still married (and the OP did not state anything regarding their marriage). Sorry, I don't mean to assume the worst, but the proper information needs to be exchanged just to eliminate any uncertainties.

The N-400 application clearly states that the applicant (or GC holder) must still be married and living with the same US citizen. So marriage actually is not the only item they check but also the living together part. Many people live apart due to work or some other disruptions in their lives which makes them ineligible.

10-07-10 -- Biometrics letter rec'd (appointment for 10/19/2010)

10-15-10 -- Biometrics done (walk-in at Alexandria, VA facility)

10-23-10 -- Another Biometrics letter rec'd (1st fingerprint set unusable according to FBI; appointment for 11/19/2010)

10-25-10 -- 2nd Biometrics done (walk-in at Alexandria, VA facility)

10-26-10 -- Called FBI: Second fingerprint set okay

11-20-10 -- Yellow letter received

01-26-11 -- Interview letter received

unfortunately your right we are seperated for almost a year. well he told me that he is going to help me but i do not want to lie to the USCIS because i do not want to jeopardize my status here. well i guess i need to wait 5 years.
