I am divorced and am just about to file for my permanent greencard.

Will applying for medicaid and other low income services for pregnant women effect the chances of getting approved for my permanent card?

Your sponsor will be paying back any and all means-tested benefits you collect. Green card holders are not allowed to collect or get help from means-tested benefits.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

oh.. i didn't know that at all! So, esentially, I can't get things like medicaid with a greencard...even after it's permanent?

The only way you can collect means-tested without the sponser paying back everything is if you become a citizen or have 40 credits of work in the US.

So no you cant get things like medicaid if its means-tested. No food stamps or anything either.

You might be able to use COBRA, im not sure about that completely but it would be worth looking into it.

The only way this could affect your removal of conditions is if USCIS determines that you have become a public charge. Receiving temporary medicaid does not make you a public charge. In fact, receiving most non-cash means-tested benefits would not make you a public charge. That includes food stamps. On the other hand, if you are receiving any cash benefits meant to supplement your income then you may have a problem. Receiving such cash benefits might make USCIS conclude you are a public charge, and you cannot become a public charge within 5 years of becoming a permanent resident. If you do then you are deportable.

Your ex-husband is "on the hook" because of the affidavit of support. The state can force him to reimburse them for the cost of your medicaid assistance.
