dear members

hello to every one

I need some advice from u people . My wife's brother is a us citizen and he filed i-130. and now she received ds 3032 and her status is current

Now the problem is that I am doing a govt job and want to resign If once it is confirm that we will get visa, so some one advice me is that I initiate process with her and submit my forms and fee etc but and after interview is successful submit documents to nvc, apply for the resignation and I have have to wait for 3-4montjhs to get cleared and then travel to usa.

Or is it possible that she mention that her spouse will travel later and submit documents later.

and 2ndly what are chances of receiving visas in such cases.

Or if if she moves my case later as spouse in usa how much time it takes.?

I am confused lots of things are diffusing my mind I need advices all u people who have information on the issue

thanks

i suggest not to resign until you know the interview date .

documents are presented to NVC, fees are paid at NVC, PRIOR to any interview date - bear that in mind - it seems you have it 'backwards'.

Ultimately, you can 'forego resigning' up to 6 months after interview date, as you'll have 6 months past the interview date to actually come into the USA (barring any bizarre medical conditions)

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Yes, is possible to request 'later interview'.

The easiest way to do this - is:

when the interview dates get first assigned, contact the US Embassy/Islamabad, ask for later interview date.
