Hello,

I applied for my wife who resides in India, I am an American citizen. My case was sent to NVC on July 13th, NVC asked me AOS and I submitted forms last week. I was just wondering what is going to be the next step ?

Also, I had a question about DS-3032 ? I got this in initial mail from NVC, do I need to have my wife fill this out ? Is it necessary ?

NVC Processing? OK !

*** not a K-3 visa topic, moving to IR-1/CR-1 forum ***

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Well, i haven t been there yet, but i m pretty sure that your wife has to fill the DS 3032, and yes, it s obligatory. the next step will be the interview, when the nvc get all the packet, they will send it to the embassy in india, and she will get an apointment for the interview. you can go on this link http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide1 they explain everything, and don t forget to check the nvc flowchart http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide1

and could you please fill your timeline?

Thnak you :)

Hmm Okay, on the flow chart it mentions about police clearance and etc. Are they(NVC) going to ask for that ? or I should've sent this with AOS ?

hey fusion7 - soooooo

Yer a new member, a bit confused about NVC processing...

Here's some backgrounder info for you -

DS-230 - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3190.html

I-864 - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3730.html

General NVC stuff - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_1335.html

If you are utilizing the online payment portal - here's a mini-how-to

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/221785-ds-3032-slowdown/page__view__findpost__p__3560467

re: the ds-3032 - yer wife needs to send that in - if you received one via email with a barcode - hey ! guess what !! SHE DID ALSO !

The DS-3032 needs to be sent in - ya can't do stuff at NVC, on the DS-230, until the DS-3032 has been added to her casefile.

Many people want speed at NVC, so they study LingChe - see http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/LingChe_NVC_ShortCut

Finally, we've an excellent GUIDES section here - please review it? http://www.visajourney.com/content/guides

Good Luck, and Welcome Aboard !

Hmm Okay, on the flow chart it mentions about police clearance and etc. Are they(NVC) going to ask for that ? or I should've sent this with AOS ?

That goes with the DS-230 - re-read the links (copiously) that I placed here in yer topic.
