The CR1/ IR1 people are still seeing zero movement from Montreal. Not that it's your problem. But I don't think anyone should be seeing the Montreal problem as anything close to solved. I'll accept the pp's comment about "a milimeter" of movement...

C.

Congrats' and good to see movement coming out of Montreal!

Hi all,

I don't know if I'm part of this group because we just filed our P3 on... well it was supposed to be delivered on Friday but thanks to Canada Post it didn't arrive until today. Anyway, I guess we're just starting what I hear is going to be a very long wait.

So congratulations to those of you that finally got your interview dates! I'm so curious to hear how long everyone is waiting.

I have to admit I obsess a little over those tables showing everyone's wait time. :)

Hello everyone!

My name is Brandon and I am new here. My fiance' just received her Montreal package 3 that she has to fill out and send back in. We were a little disheartened because it said the wait time for an interview would be 4 to 6 months. I have been skimming some of the posts and seen that it can take a long time for some and for others not so long. Is there any sort of pattern or is it all just random. We are waiting on a long form birth certificate before we can send the package back in.

My advice is to check off that you have the birth certificate and send teh packet in right away becasue yes you will be waiting the 4-6months. The only people that have gone quicker was becasue there case was expedited which would only really happen if teh usc was military and you requested one and had proof to back it up etc.

As for packet 3 as long as you send the checklist back stating you have everything AND you ensure that by the interview you DO have everything then you are fine. Hope this helps....

hello everyone!

I have been lurking in this forum for quite long time.

I got my date via mail last week ^^ I am still digesting the information. lol

My fiance told me NO to harass the DOS too often. He said someone did and their file got low priority to be process.

Me being a good girl, I only call once a month since I work, cant call long distance at work and my fiance refused to call. LOL

For those who are waiting, don't worry. Once you sent back the P3, you get an interview date in ~60 days.

I started my process on Jan 25th 2010, got a RFE (because my fiancee forgot to sent his biometrics forms. lol), P3 on april 28. I sent back the p3 to the consulate 1 month later, because I need to do the DS-forms where there is Internet Explorer and a printer ( <--- workplace)

Keep it up those who are waiting! Will be soon!

GO GO GO GO!
