as usual, a canadian redefining reality in America to suit the needs of a vocal non-American minority.

removing truth from view does not change it's nature.

Consequences from a conscious choice is another 'truth'; If you don't wish to have the 'truth' removed, then don't clothe it in language that necessitates its removal.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

incrementalism has eliminated any other choice. censorship by any other name would smell as rank.

(apologies the the bard)

I like the British Parliamentary device:

"If it were not for the rules of this house, I would call you a supercilious git"

That device apart, it's amazing what concepts can be got over by the most obscure of references which nonetheless are easy to interpret

You could have phrased what you wrote as follows:

The Han make up a large part of the current Chinese population, and it can be pretty intimidating, if not downright dangerous, in places like train stations, when so many people are all trying to board the same train.

Recent Chinese history indicates that Mongolians have legitimate concerns that their cultural and political identities may be at risk from China and its expansionist policies.

and it would not have violated TOS

and like everything else you write, misleading by understatement. typical of a person with limited experience and understanding of the scope and intensity of the problem.

bad example - that's in your face and typical of a grisly right wing war monger like Churchill

The returning troops couldn't wait to vote him out of office in 1945 after which we got the glorious 100% free Health Service which is waiting for me should I ever be left to die by the Americans for lack of MONEY

I prefer the backhanded compliment etc. The rapier is always more to be prefered than the bludgeon
