Yay! Can't wait to hear from the first person who gets their NOA2; means we'll all be soon thereafter.

I know! I want to begin to see a few CSC August filers being approved :star:

August 23, 2010 - I-129 F package sent via USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation.

August 30, 2010 - Per Department of Homeland Security (DHS) e-mail, petition received and routed to California Service Center for processing. Check cashed. I-797C Notice of Action by mail (NOA 1) - Received date 08/25/2010. Notice date 08/27/2010.

After 150 days of imposed anxious patience...

January 24, 2011 - Per USCIS website, petition approved and notice mailed.

January 31, 2011 - Approval receipt notice (NOA 2) received by mail. Called NVC, given Santo Domingo case number, and informed that petition was sent same day to consulate.

Called Visa Specialist at the Department of State every day for a case update. Informed of interview date on February, 16 2011. Informed that packet was mailed to fiance on February, 15 2011.

February 21, 2011 - Fiance has not yet received packet. Called 1-877-804-5402 (Visa Information Center of the United States Embassy) to request a duplicate packet in person pick-up at the US consulate in Santo Domingo. Packet can be picked-up by fiance on 02/28.

March 1, 2011 - Medical exam completed at Consultorios de Visa in Santo Domingo.

March 9, 2011 at 6 AM - Interview, approved!

March 18, 2011 - POE together. JFK and O'Hare airports. Legal wedding: May 16, 2011.

Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.

I have been getting touches quite frequently, but no approval yet. I pulled the military card and it seemed to get them shuffling around my stuff at least. Anybody been getting touches?

Nope, no touches on my end... but eh - not too worried. I've had a few close friends go through this and many of them got their apps processed and approved with one or no touches.

No touches here either. Seems to be pretty random and meaningless when it comes to who gets them and how often. So many people here receive their NOA2s in the mail without the website ever updating.

It seems to be CSC wide thing. But suggesting everyone of course checking their mailboxes thoroughly, not relying on USCIS updates.

Good luck !

Looks like at least one person from August CSC got their NOA2. Saw it on Igor's list...Anyone else?

Been lurking here for the last couple weeks. Met my fiance for the third time at the end of November/early December and have been watching this site and USCIS like a hawk since. When we filed (NOA1: August 26) it looked like we were going to get our NOA2 in mid-November... disappointing this has dragged on so long. If we don't get it sometime in January I'll be thinking of flying to meet her again but not sure work/budget will allow for it that easily. It would be my 4th trip to Asia in a year.

Late 2006: began exchanging e-mails and IMs on and off

Around November, 2009: decided to meet in person

February, 2010: met in Thailand (first time)

May, 2010: met in Taiwan (second meeting)

August, 2010: got engaged

NOA1: August 26, 2010

November-December, 2010: met again in Taiwan (third meeting)

NOA2: 1/26/2011!

We are at the top of the list datewise. No touches here. I am hopeful we are approved soon. Good luck to all of you. This wait is so hard sometimes, and other friends just don't seem to understand.

Ya I want to go back and see her often but finances are just too tight.

The only August CSC approval was due to an expedite. So hopefully, the rest of us start hearing something soon!

I noticed later that it was expedited. Was hopeful there for a couple hours.

I think you really have to go through this process to know what it's like. Forced long distance with no definite horizon is not something people should have to deal with for so long. Constant disappointed every day when you check your mail and still nothing, wondering what the heck is taking so long. Zero feedback in any way for 4-5 months. The first 2 months or so weren't bad but after this last trip especially, it's much more difficult. Someone else mentioned they felt like a robot...that's definitely how I feel. Thankfully it's the holidays and things have slowed down a lot at work but even so I'm starting to get behind. Just feel so down some days.

It looked like quite a few people at the end of July still had to go. Hopefully snow and the holiday season don't slow things down too much. My fiance has been staying with her mom temporarily but wants to move and find a different job. She's holding off for a while to see if the visa goes through. Hopefully will hear something back by the end of January at the latest. Would hate for her to go through the expense of moving and then a week later find out we get our NOA2. But then if I encourage her to stay and it takes forever she'll be frustrated too.

I completely feel you here. It hard to keep pushing it off. I figure that if I buy a ticket and head that way, about the time I get there and off the plane I will get a text saying the Noa2 is approved. That means I would be back again in a month or so. Not really what I want to do. Hang in there is all I can say, same as all of us. Just think at least this time next year it will be a mute point and you will appreciate them that much more. I for one have learned that. I hug much harder now after all this. Good Holidays Everyone!
