hey zeban!!! i read above about how ur sending your wife to chennai for the medical exam!!! really sweet of u to go thru soooo much for ur wife and to make her comfortable.im from hyderabad and wil b traveling to chennai too. so quick q which flight r u gonna send ur wife thru and did u look into any accomadation details for her stay at chennai. im trying look into the same info. would appreciate the insight!!! also funny thing !!!! my husband stay in chicago too!!! oh another quick question. does the chennai counsulate hand us the visa the same day if( inshallah!!! by Allah's grace) our visa is approved??? i made travel arrangements for a different country for the day after that. (hence the question) .

I did not want my wife to go alone to chennai. So i made arrangements for me to Insha Allah arrive in hyd on the 14 and have a flight 15th at 620am to chennai via Jet airways. I am leaving straight from work to hyderabad so i can accommodate this, im a little afraid of cutting it to close to the actual interview. As far as the train, if i was to send my wife i would send her the First class AC in the coupa, but its rather a dumb idea because 12 hours! vs 1.25 hours. Anyway my wife and i are thinking about staying at the Park hotel, apparently its diagonally apart from the US Consulate.

I was looking into the taj but 12k INR for a night, no thanks.

Anyway, are you coming back to chicago? where in chicago does your husband stay? i know quite a few people here. Let me know. Insha Allah our visas will be granted easily, and insha Allah for EVERYONE who is in our situation and is missing their loved ones will be granted their visa easily Insha Allah.

Normally, Chennai CO holds very few (again very few) male applicants for AP.

I personally know 2 cases in the past:

1) Hyd's hubby

2) Indianheart's husband

does that mean they hold alot more women for AP?! And insha Allah i hope my interview is a fly through success.

thats again really sweet of and thoughtful and sooo many more things of u to be with your wife during the interview ..... my husband cant make it for mine cuz he barely gets any days off or vacayz. he's a resident at a hospital. anyway.. i was thinking of the park too cuz i want something with in walking distance of the CO. also for me ,it was a toss between kingfisher and jet airways.. vent travelled thru either... hence the cluelesness. its been emirates for me all the way.

yes i will be heading to chicago inshallah. hopefully. inshallah. my husband actually stays in a suburban area called streamwood. not chicago chicago really. i know right! i hear hyd desi r a tight group and everyone knws everyone in chicago. much like hyd i gues.. everyone i come across goes like oh chicago ul find a whole lota hydi peeps ther. anywho. thts good rite. wel hopefuly .
