Hi all,

I am an American married to an Italian man since March 2009. I just delivered my I-130 to the USCIS office here at the US Embassy in Rome.

We actually never intended moving to the US, but obviously our plans went awry. In any case, I was curious about two things:

Are there any other Americans living in Italy doing DCF? Most Americans I know love living in Italy (although at this point I'm inclined to call them crazy), but I figure that there might be someone else out there.

Also, does anyone have any experience with the time frame? They told me 4-6 months before we would hear anything about the I-130, but I'm hoping it will go quicker than that.

Thanks for any replies or insights!
