Does anyone know any online dating sites where you can meet Americans looking for a wife in the Philippines

I am not going to read all the pages in this thread, but few Kanos go looking for Pinay brides. If it were indeed true, then my wive would be more successful in her matchmaking.

I think the reason why some people here "misinterpreted" your question is because you specified that you are looking for sites where you can meet AMERICANS.

When I was looking for a girl I was only looking for Filipinas. I went to web sites that were Filipino specific. Why?

1. Wanted a girl that would be apt to have strong family values

2. Catholic

3. Long black hair

Odds of finding such a girl were significantly higher if I focused there.

In my wife's case she wanted to meet an American not to move to the U.S. She would rather me move there if truth be told. She doesn't want to leave her family. She though was attracted to Americans because of the white skin and small pointy noses.

But I have to say, even if a Filipina wanted to marry an American just to move to the U.S. to better her life then so be it. If she loves and cares for her husband than what is wrong with that?

Bravo Atencio!

Why would a Pinay seek a Kano? Because there are many Kanos who appreciate Pinays. Why do Kanos appreciate Pinays?

Allow me to add to the list:

4. Pinays are malambing

5. mapagmahal

6. mabait

7. gwapa

8. sexy

9. matalino

10. Pinays can whisper sweet nothings in your ear in at least three languages!

I didn't say there's anything wrong with what she was looking for. I was merely giving my opinion on maybe why other posters reacted negatively to her question.

Aurora07's message is exactly what I meant when I posted my opinion:

"I think the reason why some people here "misinterpreted" your question is because you specified that you are looking for sites where you can meet AMERICANS. You should have just stated : Looking for online dating sites where you can meet people that might lead up to LOVE. Not look for Americans looking for a wife in the Philippines. Also, another statement you made that made others suspicious is this : " I moved here in the U.S. last year and I already have my GC (conditional)." What is the connection between looking for love for your sister and friend and mentioning that you got here last year and you got a conditional GC?

I'm not hating or and most of all being judgemental ok. "

I have nothing against what she wants and I am not judging her at all.

pinaypride, I never accused you of anything. As I said, "I hope you sister and your friend won't look at an American guy as a ticket to the States". That means I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt. I even mentioned the test and said to go for it. Sheeesh Luis!

Your intial post just really sounded suspicious that's why people started assuming things. I think this wouldn't be a flame bait if you did not state that you just got to the US and got your greencard.

You made it seem like, "Hey, I just got my greencard and I want to my friend and sister to come to the US too. Do you know where they can find Americans online?" Sounds suspicious to me. Still, I did not accuse you of anything. Relaks lang... =)

Quite a lesson in this thread on how many people take the opportunity for a put-down when they think they've got good enough cover.

In all of the attacks lies a stupid premise: that "love" is some concept that prohibits marrying to improve your life.

So, we are ideal if we marry some ugly stinking pig living in a mudhole in a country where you are likely to be raped, killed, or made a political prisoner in the middle of the night.

Hey yea - go for it! Then you'll have proven yourself worthy in front of anonymous internet keyboard warriors and your children can have pride as they sit in their dilapidated school without books, chalkboard, pencils, or notebooks.

Of course on the other hand you could be a really bad person and have your children and your sister's kids grow up in a school with computers, jobs that pay a thousand times as much per year, better health care, security against crime, etc.

But who would want to do such a horrible thing?

Sarcasm now aside, pay no heed to hypocrites. Who are they to judge.

Does anyone know any online dating sites where you can meet Americans.

I am Filipino and I'm married to a Filipino-American.

I'm trying to find a boyfriend for my sister and for my best friend.

I moved here in the U.S. last year and I already have my GC (conditional).

Just wonderin' if anyone here knows a good dating site? ;)

Hope I don't sound desperate! haha!

Thank you! ;)

Just google some sites,im pretty sure you can find many we may not even know about.

Just keep in mind,we Americans are very proud and have much pride in our country, but we are not boostful or arrogant about it.And we dont proud because our country is very strong, but because our history and of how we became.Hope you all comin here dont become arrogant about being here in USA.

You agree because you both think my intension is to use them so we can come to America. You're both wrong! Just read my other replies to those who said negative about this post. I don't wanna explain my side to everyone here. You can think whatever you wanna think but like I said to the person who ACCUSED ME that I'm NOT in-love with my husband and I just used him to get a GC (which got deleted, I dunno who did that), I am happy with my life not because I'm here in America, but because I'm with the person who loves me, takes good care of me, treat like his queen, don't cheat on me, appreciates me and he's not ugly, he's handsome and smart, plus I have 2 jobs, I have an amazing friends and awesome family! My life in the Philippines was ok, I had my own car, a small business and nice job that pays good, but I chose to be with my husband here, not because I like America.....BUT BECAUSE I WANNA BE WITH THE PERSON WHO TRULY LOVES ME!

I did not accuse you of fraud or any other illegal activity, did I? I'm just saying you should take it into consideration. I understand that you, your best friend and your sister are close, but you do not share the same mind or subconscious as they do, which is to say, I hope their intentions are pure, as much as yours are.

I applaud you for being with the person who truly loves you, don't get me wrong. I mean, isn't that the reason why most of us are here, climbing our way past over the mountain of bureaucracy and swimming through red tape, just to be the one we love and who loves us back?

Just... next time choose your words and intent wisely, it may lessen misunderstanding.

1st...OP asks for some online dating referrals.

2nd...Some reply with judgemental and condemning accusations.

3rd...OP humbly and graciously responds by clarifying her intent.

4th...Accusers prey on OP's act of humility by blaming the OP for their lack of understanding stating that it's the OP's fault they made false accusations because they misunderstood.

AMAZING!:wow:

Have some ever considered asking questions before accusing? I suppose an old fashioned witch hunt is more enjoyable (for some)?

All these years of sociological evolution and yet some have not come very far.

but kidding aside. like i asked in this thread....who are we to prevent another person from looking and finding their happiness (regardless of how they look or find it), when we ourselves have already found it?
