I'm new here... I'm just wondering if there's somebody out here who can help me or tell me how to contact the American consulate in Montreal. I know email is the best option but it has been 6 weeks and I didn't get a response from them. I need to get my passport back so I can request for a police clearance fr. another country where I worked for a couple of years. I did request for a police clearance 5 months before my interview and I was shocked on my interview because I was told that I don't have my police clearance since I was assured 5 months ago that they sent it already.

I want to know how can I get my passport back I tried all the possible ways I know.

Can I just walk-in to the consulate and ask if they can give it back to me?

I'm really stressed out about this and I don't know what to do.

How will I contact the consulate and get an answer?

this didn't work my husband who is an American citizen called this number and he was told that it's not their concern

if your case is at the consulate then it is their concern . send them a letter ( DHL) or try to contact your senator office

I tried faxing them (Montreal Consulate) with an URGENT note - no response

I tried sending an express post with another express post so that they have an envelope paid just to return my passport - no response

you need to go to your senator's office and get him/her involved . they will be able to locate your file and solve the problem very fast. your issue is not that complicated
