Hi everyone...should we be worried if my fiance hasn't received his visa yet? He had his interview on June 24th in Paris and was approved. They told him it should arrive in 3-10 days. It is now day 14......should he go to the embassy and ask where it is?...before the paper trail gets buried?..or is this within normal waiting times.

I appreciate any guidance :)

I wouldn't consider it over reacting. They told you a time frame, and they didn't meet it, so I would certainly call them and get it cleared up.

Thanks for your advice :) My fiance was unable to reach the embassy by phone so he went there today as soon as they opened. It was open for general questions today only from 9- 11:30. He arrived at 8 and spoke to a man at 8:30! yay. The clerk told him his visa was not processed yet and it should have been and they had to locate it! He would check on it. My fiance then looked like Puss n Boots and told him he had a flight next week to get married...was there ANYTHING he could do??? The man said of course!! - it will be ready monday!! He gave him his own personal business card with phone extension if there was ANY problems. Nice guy! Glad he went in person :)
