My parents came to US in Jan 2010 on visitor's Visa. I am a USC and applied 1-130 and 1-485 together in April 2010. We got the receipt numbers and got the biometrics notice also. Their biometrics/fingerprinting was done in 2nd week of May. We got a RHE requesting their birth certificates or the affidavit of birth. We sent the affidavit and non availability of bith certificates in 1st week of JUne 2010. When I check the status online, it says they are working on request of evidence. Did the status of my parents change? Their i-94 will be expiring on 19th July. Can they stay in US since their fingerprinting is done?

don't worry, they don't always update online, don't go by that.

also overstay is forgiven for your parents.
