Hi All,

I would like to know of Hotels in or close to the U.S. Embassy in Bogotá, Colombia. I need to know; hotel name, telephone number, address, cost, how close is it to the Embassy, if you used it or any other information you can divulge. My fiancée has her interview soon and she is from Armenia and has never been to Bogotá.

Thank you,

Peter Miami

Peter Miami

Peter,

I posted this a few days ago but I think I posted it in the wrong place, anyway hope it's helpful.

I went to Bogota last year with my fiance. I stayed just a few min. by taxi from the embassy at Bogota Colombia Lodging, I stayed at their B & B and had a private room with everything I needed for my weeks stay. I paid $45. a night had internet and free calls to the U.S. they also have apartments for $49 a night.

I think their web addy is www.bogotacolombialodging.com

The place was great, good service, clean and the people were great. The owners wife is also from Armenia.

The owner actually assists with fiance visas, he didn't do mine though but wish he had, he was more helpful with questions and advice than my $1,500 lawyer, there was 2 other couples there so we all got to compare notes.

hope this information helps.

Everything in Bogota was great, unfortunately my relationship didn't last, I ended up with a visa seeker, I'm not giving up on Colombian women however, I'm returning a lot better educated and the search begins all over again. I'm actually corresponding with a couple women the owner at Bogota Colombia Lodging hooked me up with after I sent my fiance back to Colombia.
