Nawal, your children are beautiful... Happy belated birthday to them ... and Aya thanks so much for the song... i want to know all of his songs... i'm sad that he was sick and died at a young age :crying: .... he was a very talented man... do you like om too... i like her too... thanks again for sharing... by the way they had videos of gana el hawa and sawah where halim had people giving him necklaces... it was on youtube .. they were long videos.. but they took them off.... don't know why  but i sure do miss them :crying:

Wonderful,

Yes, he was very talented!! I still get teary watching all the cheesy old Egyptian movies he ever starred in! He just has sad look on his face that makes your heart goes out to him! :( As much as he was talented as a singer, he was not as talented as an actor, but I still loved all his movies anyway. ::blush:

That's a part of one of his movies (it's a song as well):

As for Om Kolthoom..I like some of her songs, but not her voice. She just 'yells' too much for me. I know my opinion doesn't count anything since her reputation and fame is way bigger than my opinion in her. I can't deny that she is very unique though.

That's the Halim movie trailer:

It is good to see you check in Annie. Zain & Noor are getting so big. Noor has so much beautiful red hair. Waleed just pulled a gray hair, white hair on my head, from me the other day to show me. It was nearly 6 inches long which means it's been growing for a year. eeks.

Aya and Olivia :D Thank you for your sweet words. Nour is a handful and Zain is still our cuddly shy guy. They are starting to learn to swim now. Nour has NO FEAR at all and just jumps right into the water which is so frightening but cute to see her excitement!

I will have to take some pictures at the pool this summer and post them. I deactivated my FB for a while to take a break so this is the only place I will post for now. :luv:
