I'd say normal. My friends waited full 5 months for approval and only after contacting their congressman when their case was outside the processing time (5 months) did they get an approval.

You would have gotten very lucky if you had recieved your NOA2 already.

5 months is what the USCIS regards as within normal processing time.

Things have sped up lately but I'm guessing your atleast another month away from you NOA2.

That's what happens when you set your expectations too high. You should have expected this process to take 5 months at USCIS states. But if it was approved in 62 days (well, in your case, maybe 63 days) you would have been plesantly surprised instead of being upset.

Your timeline indicates "Based on timeline data, your I130 may be adjudicated between June 17, 2010 and July 13, 2010*." July 13th is 2 months ago. Relax. Wait. Be patient. It will happen.

You answer lies within your own statement:

You know that 3 - 5 months is normal so why are you stressing already when it's only been 2 months?

Now if you haven't received your NOA1 (Receipt) then I'd be worried but you've still got a wait for your NOA2...

Nah,don't worry,the earliest that i've seen people get their NOA2 as far as i was here,was 47 days,but normally,you'd get it from 3 to 5 months like you said,and it's been 2 months,so if you're lucky enough you'd get it within a month :clock:

Most of the people that I know, they got their NOA2 after 2-3 months from the first notice. So take it easy...give it one more month :). "Maybe" you will receive NOA2 in next few days. Who knows  . My case was approved quickly...I got lucky "maybe"?

Keep in mind that in summer months, other visa type get priority like H1-B and student visa. That's why CR1/IR1 gets delayed longer. The best time to file I130 for these visa are toward the begining of a year from what I can tell. But those of us who have filed april/may/june will have to wait a bit longer. Instead of taking as much as 3 months, we might have to actually wait for 5 months. Just the way the cards stack up, I guess.
