I-134: Who Are The Household?

Hello everyone

Now, how do we count the household to make sure the petitioner's annual income is above the 125% line?

Adding up all the current dependents listed in 2009 tax return only? Do we include the petitioner himself? Do we include the beneficiary too? :bonk:

And the income we are looking at is the number claimed in line 22 of 2009's Form 1040, right?

Thanks and a smooth visa journey to you...

The petitioner, the beneficiary and all dependants in general but you need to read Part 5 of the I-864 instructions over carefully to see who all would need to be included in your particular case..

I believe you use the Adjusted Gross Income which would be from line 37 of the 1040.

Current income would only come from the tax return (line 22 not 37) for a self employed person. Otherwise, current income is current income. Use the current annual salary or the hourly rate times 2080 hours.
